I am the Art Director for a small game company, (currently developing entertainment software for Microsoft.) I have been working in 3D animation for the past several years. I started doing art at a young age. In High School I won some awards in art, and also journalism (Art Editor for my School newspaper.) After a few years and a few colleges later, (travel bug) I joined the Navy as a Photographer. When my tour of duty was over I started a design/screen-printing/clothing company which did t-shirts and poster art for various bands, as well as my own endevors. During this time I was introduced to computer art. I was amazed at the possibilities with this new medium. So I hired in at a multimedia producer of children's software where I did animation, scripting and wet my feet in production. After that I went to do 3D character design/animation for a computer game developer, working on a sprite based fantasy title. After that company was bought out, (by E.A.) I lead an art team developing an action title for Microsoft while concurrently helping to develop a 3D Engine. I'm lucky in that I get to do the cinimatics and editing as well as the developmental stages. I'm again on another project for big brother,(Microsoft) and now I'm also learning HTML. I'm constantly doing art and always looking for good projects, (I do freelance/ contract work in everything from television storyboards to kiosk movies at Epcot center.) I now own a foundry. The End.
